Chicago Fire Extends Unbeaten Streak to 7 Games with 1-1 Draw at Red Bull New York!

The Fire's hot streak continues! Chicago Fire FC earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw on the road against Red Bull New York on Saturday night at Sports Illustrated Stadium, extending their unbeaten streak across all competitions to seven matches — their longest since 2017.

Chicago struck first in the 38th minute when Maren Haile-Selassie unleashed a curling strike into the top corner following a fluent build-up play involving Jonathan Bamba and Viktor Radojević. It marked Haile-Selassie’s fourth goal of the MLS campaign.

The Red Bulls managed to equalize late in the game, as substitute Cameron Harper scored in the 86th minute to split the points in New Jersey. Star striker Robert Lewandowski entered the match in the 64th minute, replacing Philip Zinckernagel to apply late pressure on the hosts' defense.
